‘Not good for EPL’ – Ten Hag on Klopp’s imminent departure from Liverpool

Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has said that Jurgen Klopp’s departure from Liverpool at the end of the season is not good for the Premier League.

Ten Hag said that the German brought Liverpool back to where they belonged during his time at Anfield.

Klopp confirmed on Friday that he will be leaving the Reds at the end of this season.

The 56-year-old revealed this in a video posted on Liverpool’s official social media pages.

Speaking on the development ahead of Man United’s FA Cup clash with Newport County on Sunday, Ten Hag told a press conference: “It’s no good for the Premier League. He has made an era there. He built the club. He brought the club back where they belonged, so congratulations on that. He has done an amazing job in Liverpool.”
