“Whatever I Do Is Misunderstood”- Kunle Afod’s Wife Opens Up On Criticism

Desola Afusat Afod, wife of Nollywood actor Kunle Afod, has responded to online criticism labeling her as either overly clingy or arrogant.

In a post shared via her Instagram Story on June 5, Desola expressed frustration over what she described as constant misjudgment of her actions, regardless of how she behaves.

She explained that she was once accused of being clingy when her partner was abroad. However, when she adjusted her behaviour and created some distance, she was still criticized and called proud.

“People said I was clingy because they’re abroad. I stepped back, and then they said I was proud,” she wrote.

Desola added that she is open to learning and improving in her relationships, but feels confused about expectations placed on her.

“Beloved, I’m open to learning and understanding. Please tell me how you’d like me to act and relate with you, because it seems whatever I do is being misunderstood,” she added.
