EPL: Ian Wright predicts scoreline for Liverpool, Arsenal clash

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has predicted the Gunners to beat Liverpool 2-1 when both teams clash in a Premier League tie on Saturday.

Liverpool will host Arsenal this weekend at Anfield.

The Reds are one point behind Mikel Arteta’s side, who sits on top of the table.

Providing his prediction, Wright said on the Stick to Football podcast (via The Boot Room): “This is where Arsenal lost the league last year! This is where it all started—that 2-0 lead! I am going to go with Arsenal. I believe what you said there about last season and the wheels starting to shake that has got to count for something for this team.”

He added: “I’m going to go 2-1 for us.”
