U-20 WWCQ: Falconets off to Dar es Salaam Friday for Tanzania clash

Nigeria’s Falconets will depart the country on Friday for the first leg of their 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifying fixture against Tanzania.

The players and their officials will travel in the afternoon from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos via an Ethiopia Airline.

The encounter is billed for the Azam Sports Complex, Dar es Salaam on Sunday.

The reverse fixture will take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja a week later.

Head coach Chris Danjuma unveiled a list of 19 players who will prosecute the games on Wednesday.

The Falconets qualified for the third round after Mauritius withdrew from the race.
