Enyimba forward Eriugu doubtful for Akwa United clash
Enyimba forward, Adiele Eriugu is likely to miss Sunday’s Nigeria Premier Football League tie against Akwa United.
Eriugu picked up a face injury in Enyimba’s 2-0 away defeat to Gombe United last weekend.
The matchday three fixture is billed for the Enyimba Stadium, Aba.
The lanky forward featured regularly for the nine-time Nigeria Premier League champions last season.
Eriugu scored four goals for Enyimba in the regular season.
Enyimba head coach Finidi George will be counting on Chijoke Mbaoma and Joseph Atule for goals pending Eriugu’s return from injury.
