Scores of passengers were left dead yesterday following a fatal motor accident at Enugu roundabout in Otukpo local government area of Benue.

It was gathered that a truck carrying tubers yam fell on a private vehicle killing all seven occupants. Men of the Federal Road Safety Corps were seen evacuating bodies from the site.

Residents of the area blame the crash on the deplorable state of the roundabout.
