U-20 World Cup: Milan star hits Flying Eagles camp, Arsenal ace dropped

AC Milan youngster, Victor Eletu will join the Flying Eagles training camp on Thursday (today).

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has finally secured his release from the Serie A champions after a tough battle.

The Rooseneri initially rejected NFF’s request to release the player on May 1.

Eletu’s arrival will boost the Flying Eagles’ midfield which lacked creativity during the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt.

Meanwhile, Arsenal forward, Joel Ideho has been dropped from the squad that will embark on a training tour in Argentina this weekend.

Ideho failed to impress the coaches and will now return to his base in London.

Norwich City centre forward Kenny Coker also did not make the final cut.
