Amaarae slams rappers who promote their music with TikTok

Amaarae, aka Ghanaian artist Ama Serwah Genfi, has dissed rappers who are using the viral video app TikTok to market their music.

Contrary to all evidence to the contrary, she alleges that these rappers are being coerced into appearing on the platform for the sake of ratings.

In a recent tweet, she announced this on the widely-used social media network Twitter using her official social media account.

She wrote;

“rappers being forced to join tik tok to promote their songs is hilarious cus u can c they do not wanna be there 💀”
