Some Android phones, Galaxy S5, HTC devices and others have the power saving mode. This can get extra hours of standby time out of just a few remaining percentage points of battery.

4. Disable push notifications for less valued apps:-
The push notification is useful because it notifies you of new emails, Twitter mention, Facebook activities, whatsapp messages but at the same time it consumes your battery. What you have to do is to turn it off or disable the unimportant ones.
5.Turn off Bluetooth, GPS, Radios, Wi-Fi, NFC and LTE.

All these are great but they consumes more amount of your battery. Try to off them if you’re not using them.

6. Monitor your signal strength:-
When you have little or no cellular connection your phones battery will drain quickly because the phone is constantly searching for a signal, which requires power. All you have to do is to enable Airplane mode if you don’t need data or voice calls.

7. Charge your battery:-
When your battery is getting low try to charge. Don’t over charge your battery because almost all batteries are Lithium-Ion battery.
Overcharging can cause the battery to explode.
