Nigerian-born striker, Martin Obi scores seven goals as Arsenal win 7-0

Arsenal youngster, Chido Martin Obi, scored an incredible seven times as the club’s U-18 side beat Norwich City 9-0 on Saturday.

The 16-year-old netted five goals in the first half.

Martin Obi scored the first of his two hat-tricks within 17 minutes of the match.

He added another two after the break to take his tally to 24 goals in his last seven games.

The Danish forward’s biggest haul of the season, however, remains the 10 he scored in one game, as Arsenal’s U-16 thrashed Liverpool 14-3 in November.

This result leaves Arsenal third in the U-18 Premier League South, seven points behind leaders Chelsea who have a game in hand on them and second-placed West Ham United.

Martin Obi has a Nigerian father and a Danish mother. He has played for both Denmark and England at international youth level.
