Delta Businesswoman Miraculously Escapes After 14 Days Inside Kidnappers' Den... See Details
Mrs. Bridget Emeka, a business woman based in Udu, Delta State, who was kidnapped in April 8, has escaped from her abductors after spending 14 days in a kidnappers den with the police arresting four of the suspected kidnappers.
Vanguard reports that the victim was abducted by a six-man kidnap gang along the DSC express road while in company of her daughter and grand-daughter.
Giving details of her escape, elder brother to the victim, Alhaji Mumakia Unuagha, said: “Despite paying a ransom of N2million, her abductors refused releasing her until she miraculously escaped from their den in Ugono community near Adagbrassa in Okpe Local Government Area.”
Confirming the incident, the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka said: “The victim actually escaped from her abductors but the Police who has been in hot pursuit of the hoodlums, succeeded in arresting four of them.

“I am not aware of any ransom but efforts are in top gear in ensuring that other fleeing suspects associated with the incident are arrested and brought to book.”
