Suspended traditional ruler reconciles with assaulted woman

The Onojie of Uromi, His Royal Highness, Anselm Aidenojie, has reconciled with Betty Okoebor, who was reportedly assaulted by the Onijie on Thursday.

This was following the statement from Edo state government, requesting him to tender apology to the victim within the seven days of suspension meted out on him or stands being disposed as the Onojie of Uromi.

DAILYPOST recalls that the monarch was suspended on Thursday after his failure to respond to the query issued by the Edo State Executive Council.


Some notable Uromi sons and daughters in company of family members and Mrs Betty Okoebor were present to witness the reconciliation.
