Ramos blew contract negotiations with Florentino

Real Madrid hero Guti says former teammate Sergio Ramos knows he blew new contract negotiations last summer.

Ramos left Real Madrid for PSG last year after failing to settle new terms with the Spanish giants.

Guti said on El Chiringuito: "Sergio Ramos knows he made a mistake by dragging out negotiations with Florentino Pérez too long.

"He thought that Pérez was going to do what he wanted, but he doesn't realise that for Florentino Pérez, Real Madrid is above everything. From a certain age, extensions are for a season, for Ramos and for everyone, and Sergio did not understand that.

"Now he regrets because he was a Real Madrid legend, he could have finished his career at the club, but he didn't take advantage of it. He went out the back door, it's bad for him."
