Richard Okekenwa, older brother to Osinachi husband, Peter Nwachukwu spoke to BBC Pidgin.

According to him, he has not seen or spoken to his brother for over 20 years.

“I don’t call him and i don’t have anything to do with him,” he said.

Okekenwa also told BBC Pidgin that Peter Nwachukwu’s real name is Peter Echijekwu Okekenwa.

He said since their father died, Peter has not gone home for burial, even when his wife father’s die.

Okekenwa said he heard about the news of Osinachi Nwachukwu death in the middle of the night after his children told him about it.

He added that Osinachi’s death made him cry, but not his brother’s arrest.

He said Peter is yet to call him to tell him about his wife’s death.

Osinachi, who is known for her collaborative hit track Ekwueme, died at an Abuja hospital on Friday as a result of domestic violence.

Her husband, Peter Nwachukwu has since been arrested and Josephine Adeh, the FCT command’s spokesperson, confirmed this.
