News as per Pulse NG is that the lead single “Gbagbe Oshi” off Davido’s EP “Child Of Mercy ” was purchased from veteran move corridor artiste “General Pype”.

The substance is that Davido purchased the melody from veteran Nigerian move lobby artiste, General Pype. Story has it that “Gbagbe Oshi” was composed and performed by General Pype two years back amid Industry Nite. The tune was never authoritatively discharged by General Pype.

Davido and his group associated with the move lobby artiste and purchased the rights to the melody. Purchase cost was put at about over N1 million. Same melody was re-recorded by Davido with generation contribution from Shizzi. “Gbagbe Oshi” has Davido endeavoring to talk in patois for a few moments into the tune.
