Speaking in a recent interview on Rainbow Radio 87.5fm, John Dumelo opined that the cases of coronavirus will increase due to the decision taken.

According to John Dumelo, the lockdown initiative by the Government was to prevent the spread of the virus from reaching more people.

John Dumelo explained that the virus moves when people move and by lifting the ban on movement, it’s giving more room for more people to be infected.

John Dumelo who has been supporting members in his constituency further bemoaned that the health facilities and personal protective equipment (PPEs) are insufficient to fight the virus.

“If we don’t take care, the number of infections will increase, and when the cases increase, are we adequately prepared to manage the increase? I don’t think the lifting of the lockdown was a step in the right direction,” he stated.
