Six Chinese men are facing criminal charges after catching and cooking an endangered alligator that has washed up on a street in East China’s Anhui Province.

The Chinese alligator, had wound up on the streets of Wuhu County after a rainstorm lashed the region.

Six passersby filmed themselves catching the living alligator, boiling it and consuming it.

The Video clip, which was uploaded online, drew the attention of the Citizens and that of the Police who carried out investigation and ordered for their arrest.
