“Darn it!! I guess I’ll have to ex-pose you. I’ll do my worst now. I’ve held it in for so long already, Jayden. How dare you?… Foul smell? I?” And angry chuckle ran from her mouth.

“We’ll see about that, lover boy” She whispered as a malicious sm-irk moved across her li-ps.

PHARMACY**

“What do you mean you have no Teramine?” Whitney asked.

“I’m not sure such drug exist” The nurse there, shrugged her shoulders.

Whitney sighed de-eperly and nodded.

“No problem. I’ll just check the next pharmacy just incase”

The nurse gave a dry smile and Whitney went out.

“Did I forget the name or what??” She thought.

“Whitney!!” She heard a loud voice.

She quickly turned back and her face took a shock expression.

“What’s he doing here?” She muttered.

“Jayden!” She smiled and walked up to him.

He was pa-nting heavily. Seems he has been running, and searching for her,,, precisely.

“What are you do-

She stopped her words when Jayden’s hands wrapped around her.

“Jayden?” She muttered, as her hands went to his back.

“Are you always this nice??” He whispered, shutting his eyes.

She swallowed.

“What do you mean?”

“Jade. She made a total fool of you. Let’s go” He ended the hug and grabbed her hand.

“Wait, what do you mean??” She asked.

“Jade was lying then. She wasn’t sick at all. She was all over me in the room, immediately you left”

“Wh…What?, I let my so called good attitude get ahead of me. I’m gonna confront her… or should I say, kill her” Whitney snarled and started walking fas-ter.

“Nope, you don’t have to his worry. I took care of her”

“How can she be this diabolic?, Won’t she ever change?? What her problem exactly??, I’m not leaving till I tell and give her a piece of my mind” Whitney blurted, walking fas-ter.

“That means…that drug name wasn’t even real??, I’ll kill her!!”

Jade’s door flung open suddenly and she turned to see Whitney glaring at her, with visible rage on her face.

Jade sm-irked.

“She even sm-irked?, She has no conscience!!” Whitney screamed and ran to her.

She slapped Jade, who stood up returned the slap back.

“How dare you, You have the audacity!” Jayden growled at her.

He rushed to her and was about to give her a ha-rd push when she suddenly whispered to his ears.

“How do you think Whitney would feel if she learns I’m your first love and childhood sweetheart whom you promised your whole life to”

Jayden slowly faced her.

Whitney went to Jayden and held his hand.

“Why am I even exchanging words with you? I must be insane to fight with you.

Jayden, let’s get out of here. This is just like pouring water on a marble” Whitney said.

“Whitney once said…” Jade whispered and they both looked at her.

“She wouldn’t date a guy who promised to be with his first love. She said she would even murder the guy, and whoever dates such a guy is a fool since the guy is supposed to be giving all his heart and love to his first love and childhood sweetheart” Jade spoke, widening her eyes at each statement made.

“And,,, why are you bringing that up now??”

“I’m glad you remember you said such a thing”

“I know. At the summer camp?, So,,, why are you bringing it up?”

Jade looked at Jayden.

“Jayden, can you please answer that?” She asked.

Whitney looked at her, agitatedly before facing Jayden.

“What’s going on? Is there anything I don’t know about?” Whitney asked.

Jayden shot a glare at Jade. He faced Whitney with a warm look.

“Nah, let’s just go” He said and she nodded. They started walking away, holding hands.

Jayden turned his face back.

“Don’t do anything stupid” He whispered at Jade who blew him a kis-s, and he sneered at her before leaving.

Jade chuckled and dropped down on the bed.

“This just got more fun. I got two cards which I ought to play well, sensibly. One,,, the fact that Jayden isn’t the real son of Ricardo which will cause uproar and turbulence when unleashed and two is the fact that I’m Jane, Jayden’s first love and childhood sweetheart whom he promised to be with till the end”

“Y’all,,, wait…I’m coming” She said,and erupted an evil laughter with her legs hanging up.

Shannon’s eyes were gla-ssy already. Noel was smiling at her, waiting for an answer, patiently and humbly.

The tear fell off and she wiped them quickly, sniffing the rest in.

“Noel…” She whispered.

He felt his smile wavering off. He read her emotions already. It was obvious.

“I’m sorry” She sobbed.

“But,,, I can’t… I can’t marry you”

“Huh?..But…but why?” He stuttered, weakly.

“I’m not rejecting you cause I don’t love you. I just don’t want this. I…I don’t wanna get married” She confessed.

“Do…do you have a reason why?” He asked.

“I can’t stay here. I’m going to leave” She thought.

“Shannon!” He held her hand.
“Why…why don’t you wanna get married?, We love each other”

“Yes. Yes, we do but must we get married?, Can’t we just act like couples and be happy?”

“I wanna spend my life with you, legally. I want to have pictures on the wal with you and my baby. I want a wedding ring on our fingers. I want a wedding event and us, walking down to aisle to the altar… making promises and kis-sing in that altar in front of everyone. I want… I want more than this” Noel was crying now.

Shannon squ-atted and pulled him close. She surrounded her arms around him, embracing him ti-ghtly.

“I’m sorry, Noel” She whispered wifh tears trickling down her face.

The ring box fell off his hand, as his sobs went louder. He hug-ged her back, ti-ghtly.

Meanwhile, Liam was watching them from the wall where he hid. From his expression, he looked really unhappy.

“Why, Mum?” He whispered.

PRISCA’S ROOM**

Desmond covered a sleepy Prisca on her huge bed. He sniffed the snot he had in his nose and when he exhaled, white frozen vapor emitted from his mouth and nostrils.

He was visibly shivering from the cold he had caught.

“Goodnight, Prisca” He said, as his hand slowly left the duvet but just immediately, Prisca held his hand.

“Hmm…” She mo-aned.

“Huh?” He muttered.

“Don’t go” She mo-aned in her de-eper slumber.

Desmond quickly snapped his hand off.

“What’s her problem?” He asked, in a pissed tone.

He took his jacket before seeing himself out.

Clark and Natalie covered themselves from tead to toe, with the huge duvet and when Desmond came in, he didn’t really notice it.

His mind wasn’t even there. He was very cold, and was shivering. He slumped his body on the bed, wrapped hinself up with the duvet and waited patiently for sleep to visit him.

“Baby” Natalie called.

“Yes, sweetie” Clark answered.

“Desmond is back. I gotta go” Natalie said.

He shook his head and cuddled her, keeping his head on her bo-obs.

“Stay with me”

“I’m always with you” She smiled.

“My sweet cub…” She giggled slowly, ru-bbing his hair and face.

“My gold fish” He mo-aned, sweetly enjoying her pleasurable touches on his hair with his arms on her as-s.

He kis-sed her che-st, holding her closer.

JOHN’S ROOM**

“Aren’t you gonna leave?, I’m worried Whitney might be worried” John whispered.

They were both na-ked, though the duvet helped in covering them.

“You want me to leave?” Maureen whispered, ru-bbing his chin.

John shook his head.

“No, Angel” He answered.

She smiled, and hug-ged him, ti-ghtening him around her arms.

“Then, I’ll stay tonight, Charming” She whispered.

He kis-sed her hair, and closed his eyes as sleep crept into them.
