I was relaxing in my father’s

house at the City of Ebonyi State

Relaxing on the chair watching a

Nigeria Nollywood movie (i wont

mention the name of the movie

am not into a free Advert) after

few minutes of watching the

movie i started feeling dizzy,

when i tried to stand up a felt my

phone fell down from my body to

the floor, i stretched my hand to

pick it up a call came in

immediatly i reluctantly picked

the call when i saw the caller is

my Baby Girl named Celine

.

Me: Hello sweetheart

celine: good Morning my Gem

me: fine morning, how are you

doing this morning

Celine: am good and you?

Me: Am ok and your night?

Celine: it was cool and yours

Me: Fine, please dearie i…

(my dad cut in)My dad called me

from the background, i ended

the call immediatly to answer my

dad,

me: Good morning Dad

Dad: Morning, what are you

doing now?

Me: Nothing (“i answered

anxiously because i know when

my dad is about to start his

sermon”)

Dad: Prepare your self we will be

traveling to the village tomorrow

morning

Me: ahh dad why sudden

development

Dad: I want you to accompany

me to attend a ceremony coming

up next month

Me: But Dad Next month is still far

we can still wait a little bit

Dad: No we will travel tomorrow

morning i have many things to

take care of and you will be

helping me in the Farm as well.

Me: Haaa me Farm, Dad i wont

corp with that o

(my mum cut in from the

corridor,)

Mum: Honey! Why won’t you

allow him to stay while you go

alone? Considering his not

familiar with farming.

Me: Thanks mum

mum: is that your goodmorning?

Me: oh am so sorry for that, Good

morning my wife

Dad: So you have started

snatching my wife in my own

very eyes

Me: (i said Nwoke bu kwa Ezege

in my mind) no o just teasing her

Mum: Teasing who?

Me: You nah, be doing as if it

doesn’t sweet you

both my mum and dad burst out

laughing. After a while of

laughter my dad turned to me

Dad: do you know the main

reason why i want you to go

with me despite you are the last

born?.

Me: Because you want me to be a

hardworking boy

Dad: You are already a good boy.

Me: (haha for were me good

boy? I said in my mind smiling)

Thanks dad

Mum: Why are you smiling?

Dad: Maybe because his happy

going with me right?

Me: (i starred at my mum on her

face and she signaled me to

accept) Yes Dad

Dad: That’s Good, and the reason

i want you to follow me is

because of your sometimes

funny things atleast i can be

laughing althrough the day’s am

there

Mum: So that me will be Angry all

day long?

Dad: No o, just want to borrow

your 2nd Husband from you

Me: Chai so am now a goods that

is been borrowed chai is not fair

Mum: Well you can go with him

but don’t hurt him o when he

start mis-behaving

Dad: Ok i promise

Me: Do i have a say in this?

Both of them chorused No.

Me: ok o( chai see gobe o and i

have arranged for me and my

Babe to see the next day chai see

wahala) i dipped my hand into

my pocket were i kept my phone

and checked the screen and saw

8 missed calls from my babe, i

smiled and dialed the number

while walking back to my room, i

told her about the news and she

was unhappy, but as a sharp guy

i cheered her up promising to

visit her towards evening, and in

the evening i went to her house

discussing and chatting with her

i checked the time and it was

7:40pm i jumped on my feet and

dismissed her and ran like a mad

man home, her house wasn’t

that far from mine so got home

early enough before anyone

could notice, i went to the dining

and ate my food and i went to

my room and slept off not after

posting stories on my facebook

page and my website.

The following morning me and

my dad traveled to the Village

located in Nkanu East L.G.A in

Enugu State, i was bit anxious

and reluctant as well, but what

could i do? I just obeyed, i was

angry when we got home and i

was equally tired, i called my

mum and siblings and told them

that i have reached and also

called my babe, i was arranging

our logages when my cousin

pumped into my room

.

Cousin: who am i seeing?

Me: Your grandfather’s Ghost

Cousin: na your eye be this?

Me: No, na my arm-pit

Cousin: haaa una don come

back?

Me: no o we still dey that side

Cousin: i been hear say una don

land like bomb

Me: Yes na the Return of Shekau

Cousin: I heard you now work

at the Bakery?

Me: Oh Yes. I started last

week.

Cousin: But you have never

brought any Bread

home.

Me: Your sister who works

at the airport,

has she brought any aeroplane

to the house?

And even you who works at

the Mortuary, have

you brought any dead body

home before? Has

your brother who works in

London brought

Buhari back home? Please,

don’t put pressure

After series discussion that seem

to me like forever he finally left

for his own father’s house.

I relaxed on my bed cooling off

my head for the stressful day,

and i logged on to facebook and

posted some jokes
