Popular Nollywood actor, Leonard Mezie, has been diagnosed with a kidney related ailment.

The ‘Secret Adventure’ actor who came into limelight in 2005 has been battling the ailment for a long time, WAPLOADED is reporting.

Mezie is currently battling for survival after he took medications based on wrong diagnosis.

He has, however, been undergoing dialysis weekly and needs urgent financial assistance.

President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, Ibinabo Fiberesima, on her Facebook page hinted that the actor needs all the help he can get and was also hoping on God to heal him completely.

WAPLOADED on Sunday took a step further to reach Fiberesima.

She confirmed the report to our correspondent, saying the Abia State-born actor was urgently in need of N180, 000 weekly for his daily dialysis.

She said, “Yes, it’s true. He needs all the help he can get.

“He is my brother and my friend, my colleague. He is Mezie O. Leonard. He was diagnosed wrongly with malaria, typhoid and pneumonia for over a year and the medications have affected his kidneys.

“They have both collapsed.

“Please join me in prayers for his life and also I plead with you all to help me raise money first for dialysis which is 80k (N80, 000) each and he does this 3 times a week.

“Let’s save his life.

“Please pay any amount into his account: Mezie O Leonard. 0125346916 GTB.

“God will meet you in your time of need,” the model cum actress added.

Meanwhile, the ailing actor could not be reached as at the time of filing this report as his cell phone number was on call divert.
