It has been revealed that women cheat for all sorts of reasons, but they are more likely to stray if men let them down in this one simple way.

According to Daily Star UK, a new study has shown that ladies are more willing to play the field if their partner doesn't lift a finger around the house.

That's right, 72% of women who took part in a recent study said they cheated because their man didn't do any housework.

More than 10,000 women from all over the world who use the Gleeden – which pairs up people wanting to have affairs – responded to the infidelity poll.

Although statistics show that men are much more likely to cheat, many women also search out sexual affairs.

And 18% of ladies said they lost all sexual desire for they partner if he wasn't doing enough around the house.

A study by the University of Alberta found that men who do more housework also have more frequent and satisfying s*x.

A further 31% of women who took part in the study said they looked elsewhere because they wanted to feel sexy and wanted again.

You’d think the heartbreak of finding out your mum had cheated on your dad would send you in the opposite direction.

But apparently women are far more likely to play away if their parents are also “cheaters”.

In fact a whopping 71% of cheating women revealed that their mother had also strayed.

Interestingly though, 86% said they would stop playing the field if their father told them to.
