Nigerians In Trouble! Beat FM, MTN & Naija FM Shut Down Due To Diesel Scarcity
MTN has issued a statement saying it’s been drastically affected by the scarcity of diesel and most of it’s base stations that run on fuel can’t keep up with the current scarcity.
Radio stationsBeat 99.9 FMas well asNaija FMhave shut down services very early tonight due to the ongoing fuel/diesel scarcity.
Making the announcement on social media, the radio stations stated that they will be closing at 8:00PM.
Beat FM mentioned on air that services will resume on Sunday morning but that Monday could not be guaranteed.
