How robbers attacked woman, fled with car, baby in Delta

Residents of Soko Estate Road, in the Jakpa / Airport Road area in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta state, have lamented the consistent robbery incidents in the area.
They allegedly live in daily fear of armed gangs who attack and rob victims at random at several bad spots on the road.

This was just as a yet-to-be identified woman at the weekend, was attacked by hoodlums who made away with the car she was driving with her baby inside.

According to reports, the incident happened at about 6 p.m.

The residents have, however, called on the Delta State Government to strengthen security in the area and urgently address the poor state of the road to ensure safety of lives and properties in the area.

When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Celestina Kalu, told DAILY POST that the case is under investigation.
