The reigning Nigerian champions have promised to do all it takes to avoid defeat when they face the White Knights in Cairo
Enyimba’s Uche John has assured Nigerians that the People’s Elephant’s will avoid defeat when they face Zamalek in Monday’s Caf Champions League encounter.
Having lost all games in the group stage, Paul Aigbogun’s men need a win in Cairo to fancy their chances of progressing to the semifinal of the competition.
“We know what is expected of us and we will strive to do Nigerians and our career proud by avoiding defeat in Egypt. It will no doubt be a tough match but we will be there to play with our hearts,” John told Goal.
The Nigerians sit at the base of Group B with no point and could profit from Caf’s decision to shift the game to Monday.
