Patrick Kihagi, a police officer in Tassia, Embakasi in Kenya has shot himself dead after shooting dead his colleague.
According to Tuko, the shooting reportedly occurred following an argument on Tuesday, February 21
Patrick Kihagi shot dead his colleague, James Makokha and injured another colleague Dominic Ng'etich moments after the three were spotted watching a football match.
The three were reportedly involved in an argument about the match before Kihagi turned on his colleagues and then killed himself.
According the Standard, Dominic who survived in the incident said Makokha was shot as he tried to intervene in the argument.
A firearm, nine rounds of ammunition and four spent cartridges of 9mm calibre were recovered at the scene.
The injured police officer has been transferred to the Nairobi West Hospital in a stable condition and the bodies moved to Kenyatta University Mortuary.
