City People Awards 2016: See List Of Winners

The 2016 edition of the City People Entertainment Awards held last night, July 24th in Ikeja, Lagos State.

The City people award is an annual accolade presented by City People Magazine to honour Nigerian and Ghanian entertainers.

This year’s edition had the biggest names in Nollywood in attendance. The likes of Mercy Aigbe-Gentry, Faithia Balogun, Kemi Afolabi, Eniola Badmus, Tayo Sobola, Bolaji Amusa among host of others.

Elegant Yoruba actress, Mercy Aigbe and comedian Adeyinka The First were the host of the show.

Surprisingly Nollywood star, Fathia Balogun who had her hair shaved for a movie role about two weeks back rocked her natural hair to the event. She was styled in a black dress designed by Toyin Lawani of TiannahStyling.

Best Actress of the year (English)- Thelma Okoduwa

Best Producer of the Year- Yomi Fabiyi

Comic Actor of the Year- Eniola Badmus

Best Marketer of the Year- Prince Iyke Olisa

Revelation of the Year- Olumide Oworu

Best TV series of the Year- Taste of Love
