Buhari Wins APC Presidential Primaries, To Contest Against Jonathan in 2015 Election

Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd.) has been declared as the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary which held in Lagos November 10-11th 2014.

Buhari beat his closest rival Atiku by more than 3000 votes. He will be at loggerheads with incumbent, Goodluck Jonathan at the February 15th presidential election.

Atiku had 954 votes. Buhari also beat competition from Rabiu Kwankwaso, current Governor of Kano State, Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, and Sam Nda-Isaiah, publisher of Leadership newspapers, to secure the bid.
