Today on Waploaded Entertainment, we’ll be letting you know the beautiful story of the world’s’ oldest living conjoined twins who refuse to be separated even at 66-years of age.

Conjoined twins are very rare and a lot of them are given birth to as stillborn while living conjoined twins are more likely to be female than male.

Ronnie and Donnie Galyon are the world’s’ oldest living conjoined twins in history and was born in the year 1951.

The conjoined twins were born in Ohio, the United States of America to couple Wesley and Eileen Galyon, both boys were joined from the sternum to the groin and they have four legs but share a single navel, bladder and male genital.

When Ronnie and Donnie were born, the doctors had them admitted in the hospital for 2 years while looking for a way to separate the conjoined twins, but when it was finally determined that the separation would be impossible, they were sent home with their parents.

While trying to give them a normal life regardless of their conjoined body, their parents sent them to a school to get educated, but they were banned from attending classes and sent home by the teacher who stated that ‘they were too much of a distraction’. That led to them being illiterate.

When they were just 4 years old, their father took them out to the street to make money off them as a ‘Sideshow attraction’ so as to support their already large family of nine. That was how their journey into the entertainment industry begun and according to them, they “had a nice life”. Their career in the entertainment industry gave them the opportunity to meet a lot of celebrities, including those with extraordinary conditions. They toured the whole of The United States and also organized tours in Latin America.

After about 30 years of making a living off the entertainment industry, the duo purchased their independent home in Ohio with money earned from their sideshow business and then they decided to retire in the year 1991. Although they were retired, they never rejected an opportunity to appear on television shows and documentaries.



In the year 2009, Ronnie suffered an infection on his lung which endangered the life of both twin, so they were harboured by their younger brother Jim who seems happy to help them out... Jim was quoted as saying; 'That’s kind of giving it back right now. I don’t do it because of that, but I feel that way, ‘They paid for us all growing up.'

When they were born, they were informed by doctors that their separation was impossible, but today some doctors have made them know that they can be separated but they rejected the idea stating that they now prefer their conjoined-state to being separated.



Ronnie was quoted as saying; “The good Lord made us. Let our savior do it,”, and Donnie affirmed with the following statement; ‘No surgeon’s knives,'
