As Ousmane Dembele Has Joined Barcelona, Former Club Dortmund Have Replaced Him With This Player (Photo)
Bundesliga giants, Borussia Dortmund have signed Andriy Yarmolenko from Dynamo Kiev for the sum of €25m as a replacement for Ousmane Dembele.
After Dembele departed for Barcelona this week, Dortmund needed a move to strengthen their attack and Ukraine international, Yarmolenko appeared to be his perfect successor.
Yarmolenko has scored 99 goals in 228 appearances for his previous club, Dynamo Kiev since 2008.
“I am very grateful that Dynamo Kiev has fulfilled my dream of being able to switch to a big European club! I will work hard in every training to help BVB achieve its highest goals – that’s what I always do,” said Yarmolenko.
Yarmolenko has now signed a contract that will till 30 June 2021 and will ‘fly’ with jersey No.9.
