APC chieftain commends President Buhari’s fight against corruption in Nigerian Judiciary

The Delta State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hon. cyril Abeye Ogodo today commended President Muhammadu Buhari for his efforts in the fight against corruption in Nigeria’s judiciary.

Hon. Ogodo gave the commendation in a chat with newsmen at Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area today.

According to him, “the bible says judges should not take bribe but judges in Nigeria are so corrupt. I salute the efforts of President
Muhammadu Buhari’s efforts because corruption is a monster which ordinary human beings cannot fight. It needs to combined efforts and wisdom. I praise his efforts and pray God to be with him in doing that.”

The APC also enjoined the newly sworn-in Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki to follow the footprints of the immediate past
governor,Comrade Adams Oshiohole with a view to sustaining the grip of APC in the State.

The APC Chieftain described the election that brought the Edo State Governor, Obaseki to power as the “freest and fairest election in
Nigeria, tasking members of the party to remain steadfast and committed at the national level.

He assured the APC members of the party’s preparedness in taking over Delta State come 2019, stressing that, “APC is the only political party that could guarantee the dividends of democracy to the people.”

Hon. Ogodo stated that youths should desist from acts that could smear and ridicule the image of their immediate families, communities, state and the country at large.
