The French midfielder won the Premier League title with Leicester and now tops the league with Chelsea.
He beat off competition from team-mate Diego Costa as well as Spurs duo Dele Alli and Danny Rose and Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.
Meanwhile, Alli picked up Young Player of the Year at the London Football Awards, beating two Arsenal players in the process.
The Tottenham man, who has scored 15 goals already this season, beat Alex Iwobi and Hector Bellerin to the award.
