NABTEB again extends Nov/Dec exam registration deadline, 2026

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced a further extension of the registration deadline for the 2026 November/December examinations to Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

The latest extension gives prospective candidates additional time to register for the National Business Certificate (NBC), National Technical Certificate (NTC), Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC) and Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC) examinations.

According to the announcement, registration, which was initially scheduled to close on Thursday, October 8, 2026, will now end at midnight on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

The Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, Dr. Mohammed Aminu Mohammed, approved the extension in an internal memorandum dated Thursday, October 8, 2026. The memorandum was signed by the Director of Examinations Administration, Chigoziem Susan Metu.

No Additional Registration Fee

NABTEB has clarified that the latest extension does not attract any additional registration fee. Candidates are therefore advised not to pay extra charges because of the extension.

The examination body urged prospective candidates who are yet to register or complete their registration to take advantage of the additional time to conclude the process before the new deadline.

Candidates are also advised to complete their registration promptly, as the board indicated that there may be no further extension beyond Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

The announcement was issued by Uchechukwu Olisah, Assistant Director, Media/Protocol, on Thursday, October 8, 2026.

Candidates are advised to complete their registration on or before October 13, 2026, to avoid missing the 2026 NABTEB November/December examinations.
