Fed Poly Bida SUG issues notice on sign out celebrations

The Students' Union Government (SUG) of the Federal Polytechnic Bida has clarified the position of the School Management on sign-out activities and celebrations.

According to the statement, the leadership of the Union met with the School Management over the matter.

The SUG stated that Management is not stopping students from doing sign-out or any form of celebration, but emphasized that such activities must be conducted in an orderly manner.

The statement noted that Management's major concern is the blocking of the school entrance or main road, which causes traffic obstruction and inconvenience to other students, staff and visitors.

The Union therefore advised students to carry out their sign-out/celebrations by the side of the school or at designated areas and not at the main entrance or road.

The SUG further called on students to celebrate responsibly and ensure their activities do not obstruct movement or disrupt the smooth running of the school.

The Union added that the Director of Security and the Dean of Student Affairs are aware of the arrangement.
