Celebrity designer Veekee James has sparked reactions online after blindfolding her husband, Femi Atere, and taking him to a phone store.

In a video shared online, Veekee blindfolded Femi and told him she had a surprise for him before taking him into the phone store.

She later removed the blindfold and revealed that the surprise was actually for her, as she got her husband to buy her the latest iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Veekee captioned the video, “Pulled a massive surprise on my baby”.

The video has since generated mixed reactions, with some social media users criticising the couple while others pointed out that the stunt was an advertisement for the phone store.
