ATBU extends Post-UTME online screening deadline, 2026/2027

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has announced an extension of its online screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. The decision was communicated in a circular issued by the university's Academic Division on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

According to the circular, the online screening exercise has been extended until August 31, 2026. The university explained that the extension is intended to give candidates who are still awaiting the release of their O'Level examination results enough time to upload the results on the JAMB admission portal before completing the screening process.

The management advised all affected candidates to upload their O'Level results immediately after they are released and ensure they complete every requirement of the online screening exercise within the new deadline.

ATBU also urged prospective students to make good use of the extension, warning that only candidates who successfully complete the screening process within the approved period will be considered for admission.

The university further stated that no additional extension will be granted after the expiration of the new deadline, urging applicants to avoid waiting until the last minute.
