NABTEB concludes selection and placement exercise into Federal Technical Colleges

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) has announced the successful conclusion of the 2026 Selection and Placement Exercise into Federal Technical Colleges (FTCs), conducted in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education (FME) and the Principals of Federal Technical Colleges.

According to the Board, the exercise followed the successful conduct and release of the results of the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE), which was held on Saturday, 13th June, 2026.

NABTEB stated that the selection and placement process was carried out in line with the approved admission guidelines to ensure a transparent, fair, and merit-based allocation of qualified candidates into Federal Technical Colleges across Nigeria.

Candidates who participated in the 2026 National Common Entrance Examination can now check their admission status by visiting the NABTEB website (nabteb.gov.ng), navigating to the Media Centre on the menu bar, and clicking on FTC Admission Status.

Alternatively, candidates can confirm their admission status at any NABTEB office in the 36 states, the six geo-political zones, or at the NABTEB National Headquarters in Benin City, Edo State.

Successful candidates are advised to visit https://eworld.nabteb.gov.ng from Friday, 24th July, 2026, to print their Notification of Admission Slip. They are then required to present the slip at the Federal Technical College where they have been offered admission to collect their admission letters and complete all registration formalities within the stipulated period.

NABTEB congratulated all successfully placed candidates and encouraged them to take full advantage of the quality technical and vocational education opportunities available in Federal Technical Colleges.
