Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Saapade reiterates mandatory 70% attendance of lectures

In view of the gross disregard for learning and Academic activities as well as the extremely poor performance of students during examinations recently, I have the directive of the Management to inform all students in the Polytechnic (Full time and Part-time) that seventy percent (70%) attendance of lectures is now mandatory for all students.

To this end, any student that does not have seventy percent lecture attendance will not be permitted to sit for examination with effect from the 2nd Semester of the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

Please note that such students will be blocked from assessing the examination docket as well.
