The Super Eagles have thrown their full support behind Ademola Lookman, who has submitted a transfer request at Atalanta.
Lookman is getting frustrated with the Serie A club “blocking” his move to Inter Milan and has decided to force the issue.
Inter have seen several offers rebuffed by their Italian rivals and are threatening to walk away from negotiations.
It has led to Lookman releasing a statement across his social media handles, speaking up about how he has been treated by Atalanta.
The reigning African Footballer of the Year also reiterated his desire to pursue a fresh challenge.
In a post on the Super Eagles’ official X handle, a picture of the 27-year-old was posted alongside the caption: “We stand with Ademola Lookman. #FreeLookmanNow”
