Fashion entrepreneur Cynthia Obi Uchendu recently took to Instagram to express her frustration with what she described as poor business practices among online vendors.

In her post, she recounted a disappointing experience where she selected several items from a vendor and requested the total cost, including delivery. Instead of providing the full amount, the vendor responded with individual item prices and expected her to calculate the total herself.

“Isn’t it the job of the seller to give the total amount of what I’m buying? Or am I running mad?” she wrote, clearly irritated by the exchange.

Uchendu used the moment to remind business owners of the importance of delivering quality service, regardless of the customer’s spending power.

“Things are tough for everyone,” she added, “but if I’m spending my money, I expect to be treated right.”
