EPL: ‘It’s not too much’ – Van Nistelrooy speaks on Ndidi’s injury
Leicester City manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy is hoping his team won’t have to do without Wilfred Ndidi for a long spell.
Ndidi sustained an injury in the Foxes 2-2 draw with Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon.
The defensive midfielder was replaced by Oliver Skipp after 52 minutes.
The 27-year-old battled with injuries in recent seasons but Van Nistelrooy is desperate to avoid a similar occurrence this time around.
“Wilf, when he comes off you know there’s a problem. I hope it’s minor. He felt a slight strain in the hamstring. Hopefully it’s not too much. We’ll see how quick we can get him back,” Van Nistelrooy said after the game.
The 27-year-old has made 15 league appearances for the Foxes this season.
