Chrisland University, Abeokuta, held its sixth convocation on Tuesday, celebrating 185 graduates, including 25 First Class and 94 Second Class Upper honorees. Outgoing Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chinedum Babalola announced this during a press briefing, highlighting Omodehin Oluwasemilore from the Department of Psychology as the best graduating student with a CGPA of 4.99.
Babalola reflected on the institution’s growth under her tenure, expanding from 57 students in 2017 to over 1,500 in 24 accredited programs today—a testament to the vision of founder Dr. Mrs. Winifred Awosika. Known for academic excellence, Chrisland University has achieved 100 percent accreditation for all programs and continues to make strides in Nigerian private education.
