Championship: Maja’s goal not enough as Sheffield halts West Brom’s unbeaten run

Josh Maja continued his impressive scoring form as West Bromwich Albion fell to a 3-2 loss against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Saturday.

The defeat was West Brom’s first in seven Sky Bet Championship games this season.

Maja scored the Baggies’ first goal of the game in the 65th minute.

The 24-year-old has now scored seven goals in seven league games for Carlos Corberán’s side this season.

The forward featured for the entire duration of the game.

Maja’s compatriot, Semi Ajayi also featured for West Brom in the game.

Ajayi was replaced by Gianluca Fabrotta seven minutes from time.
