Wednesday Season 2 Cast Announced as Filming Begins

Netflix has finally announced the official Wednesday Season 2 cast for the highly-anticipated next installment to the popular Addams Family spin-off, which had just begun its production in Ireland.

Joining Golden Globe nominee Jenna Ortega in Season 2 are new cast members Billie Piper (Doctor Who), Evie Templeton (Return to Silent Hill), Owen Painter (Tiny Beautiful Things), Noah B. Taylor (Law & Order: Organized Crime), Steve Buscemi (Boardwalk Empire), Joanna Lumley (Absolutely Fabulous), Thandiwe Newton (Westworld), Frances O’Connor (The Missing), Haley Joel Osment (The Sixth Sense), Heather Matarazzo (The Princess Diaries) and Joonas Suotamo (Star Wars sequel trilogy), with Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future).

Lloyd originally portrayed Fester Addams in the original live-action movies, where he co-starred alongside Anjelica Huston and Raul Julia. The veteran actor will be the second cast member from the 90s Addams Family movies who will be appearing in the show, following Christina Ricci in Season 1. As for Piper, Buscemi, Lumley, and Newton, they will be portraying the respectively roles of Capri, Barry Dort, Grandmama, and Dr. Fairburn.
