Wizkid Paved Way for Davido, Others – Samklef

Music producer, Samklef has claimed that singer Wizkid paved the way for other musicians in the Nigerian music industry.

He made the claim on Monday via his Twitter page.

According to him, Wizkid’s crucial role in shaping the music landscape has set the pace and standard for artists like Davido, who have achieved immense success in the industry.

Samklef believes that without Wizkid’s influence and platform, Davido and others would not have achieved their current level of success.

He emphasised that Wizkid’s influence extends beyond individual artists, suggesting that Starboy’s impact has inspired a generation of young musicians to pursue their musical aspirations.

He said: “The industry is not ready! If not for Wizkid, the likes of Davido wouldn’t have a platform. He is the reason why kids are doing music today. Samklef table podcast coming soon.”
