Gqom masterminds, Distruction Boyz became the toast of the SA music industry once they unveiled their highly-anticipated debut “Gqom Is The Future“ album in October.

In fact, such is the fierce of the project of musical art that records such as “Omunye“ became one of the biggest songs in SA.

Not content with the success however, the duo of Que and Goldmax, whose real names are Thobane Mgobozi and Zipho Mthembu respectively, set their sights on becoming the first artists to reach gold status with a strictly Gqom album.

They say dreams do come true and with all of their determination, dedication and hard work, the “Gqom Is The Future” album of Distruction Boyz has now been certified gold – the first ever Gqom album to reach such landmark.

The obviously excited serial hitmakers took to social media platform, Instagram, to share the great news and excitement with their fans. They posted:
