OOU notice on freshers orientation programme

This is to inform all freshmen and members of the University Community that the 2023/2024 Orientation Programme will start on Wednesday 28th February, 2024 at the OGD Hall, Main Campus, Ago-Iwoye. Thereafter, the various Colleges and Faculties will continue with the Orientation Programme that is tailored towards specific needs of their respective students. On Friday, 1st March, 2024 there will be Special Jumat Service at the As-Sujood Mosque, Main Campus, by 1.00p.m.

The week-long event would give the freshmen the opportunity to listen to series of carefully selected topics that will assist them in transiting smoothly into the unique life of the University system and, indeed, how to survive the academic rigours without running foul of the rules and regulations governing members of the University Community. The programme will be rounded off with a Special Sunday Service at the Chapel of Abundant Life on 3rd March, 2024 at 10.00a.m.

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Ayodeji Agboola, is expected to declare the ceremony open while other members of the University Management would also be in attendance. All freshers are, therefore, expected to be seated by 8.00a.m
