Obot, Asuquo shortlisted for Enyimba’s January POTM

Imot Obot and Uwana Asuquo have been shortlisted for Enyimba’s Player of the Month for January.

The duo played crucial roles in the People’s Elephant impressive performance in the month.

They helped Enyimba secure two victories on the road against Bayelsa United and Shooting Stars respectively.


Obot has featured in nine games for Enyimba in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.

Right-back Asuquo remains one of the standout performers for Enyimba this term.

He has made 15 appearances and registered two assists for the club.

The winner of the award will be selected by fans on social media.

The announcement will be made next week.

Enyimba will face Bendel Insurance in a matchday 21 fixture in Benin City on Sunday.
