This year has been a very interesting year for South African Hip Hop as a lot of the big artists released new albums but this did not stop Kwesta from owning the year like he did last year with Ngud’.

The Supa Mega released a collaborative album with Anatii which is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the year! A lot of fans feel that it has been the best album to be released this year but the competition is pretty stiff this time around.

Kwesta has not released an album but he has 2 smash hit singles! Dakar’s ‘Ngiyaz’fela’ has to be the biggest record to be released this year but his latest effort titled ‘Spirit’ has the potential to out do the previous record which is amazing!
