New Algeria FA boss to decide Peseiro’s fate this week

The new president of the Algeria Football Federation, FAF, Walid Sadi will decide on the appointment of a new coach for the Desert Foxes this week, Waploaded reports.

According to French publication, L’ Equipe, Sadi is considering between Jose Peseiro and Vladimir Petkovic.

Both Peseiro and Petkovic have received offers from the Algeria Football Federation.

Peseiro’s contract with the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has ended and the Portuguese is yet to receive an offer of an extension from the soccer house.

The 63-year-old recently said he will take time to decide on his future.

The Algeria Federation are looking for a new coach to tinker the Desert Foxes following the team’s poor display at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
