Rave of the moment Samthing Soweto has admitted he regrets leaving multiaward winning group The Soil. Samthing Soweto was one of the founding members of the group but left over a contractual dispute shortly before they became stars.

He told Drum, “I was young, I didn’t know better. I wanted to do everything at the same time and I admit I was wrong. I regret leaving The Soil but I’m happy they’re doing well,”

Samthing Soweto adds that he would like to work with the group again in future but he is ready to continue to ride his own wave. “Some people still recognise me from The Soil because they know my voice, but I’m ready to take my shine,” he adds
